SavingStar: Digital Coupons for Rite Aid, Tops Markets & More (Redeemable for Cash & Amazon Gift Cards!)

SavingStarIf you use a store loyalty or rewards card, then you should check out SavingStar for additional savings. SavingStar is a national, digital grocery eCoupon service that allows you to add paperless eCoupons (meaning electronic coupons) to your existing grocery or drug store loyalty cards. There are currently over 24,000 stores participating that represent nearly 100 retail chains which means there is a good chance that a local chain is included. For my area, this includes local chains like Tops Markets & Wegmans! How cool is that?

In a nut shell, whenever you use your loyalty card at checkout and purchase an item for which you’ve loaded an eCoupon for, the savings will automatically be deposited into your SavingStar account. This can then be redeemed for a deposit into your bank or PayPal account, an Amazon gift card, or a donation once your account reaches $5! It’s really simple to use, and to get started.

To take advantage of SavingStar:

  • Sign up for a SavingStar account- it’s FREE!
  • After you log in, enter your zip code to see what stores are available for you to link your Store Loyalty card.
  • Browse through the available eCoupons and click to activate the ones you want.
  • If you have an iPhone or Android, you can even even download the SavingStar app so you can click the eCoupons you want on the go. Just download the iPhone app or Android app to get started.

Your grocery bill will stay the same, but the savings are automatically added to your SavingStar account. Once you reach $5 in savings, you can request a payout from a deposit into your bank or PayPal account, an Amazon gift card, or a donation to American Forests.

This doesn’t mean that you can’t use a store or manufacturer coupon in addition to using this. If anything, you are saving MORE money! Just shop like you normally would, with or without coupons, and make sure you have the eCoupons that you want loaded and watch the savings add up.

    I can’t get a Sunday paper where I live and the only store near me with good deals is Rite Aid (sometimes), so I really appreciate those digital coupons!
